Kyle Schneider has been passionate about music from a young age, drawn to the dynamic rhythms of classic rock and heavy metal, particularly the iconic drum grooves of bands like Van Halen. This early influence set the stage for his exploration of various genres, including Hip-Hop, Funk, and Jazz. His journey into these diverse styles was shaped by a dedicated private instructor who introduced him to genre-defining legends, fostering a deep sense of curiosity and passion for music. This curiosity led him to focus on jazz during his studies at East Carolina University, where he pursued a degree in music performance with a concentration in jazz performance and music production.
Currently, Kyle is actively involved in prominent musical projects based in Raleigh. Alongside his performance endeavors, Kyle applies his music production expertise to work with various artists throughout the Triangle area. He has been instrumental in producing recordings for numerous projects, with many of his tracks appearing on released music. His experience in both performance and production has provided him with a versatile skill set that enhances his musical contributions and collaborations.
As an educator, Kyle strives to instill in his students the same passion for exploration and musicality that has guided him throughout his own journey. He is dedicated to creating a supportive and dynamic learning environment where curiosity is encouraged and students feel empowered to explore different genres and techniques. Kyle believes that music education is about more than just mastering an instrument—it’s about fostering creativity, building confidence, and developing a deep connection to the art form. By nurturing these qualities, he aims to help his students grow as musicians and individuals, each finding their unique voice in the world of music.
