Christopher Foti, also known as Mr. C, is a drummer and percussionist originally from Boston, Massachusetts. Christopher is an avid music lover and enjoys a wide variety of genres, from hard rock to smooth jazz. Born with a natural sense of rhythm inherited from his father's side of the family, Christopher began playing drums at the age of 6. By age 9, he was playing with adults at his church. Over the years, Christopher has continued to perform throughout the country with many different bands and groups, playing a wide variety of styles including jazz, funk, pop, R&B, reggae, metal, bossa nova, and Afro-Cuban.
After serving his country for several years in the military, Christopher graduated from Musicians Institute in Hollywood, California, with a degree in drum performance and music business. Christopher relocated to the Raleigh area in 2018 and has continued to grow as an educator. His passion for teaching music is what inspires and motivates him every day. Christopher loves what he does and brings his passion with him into every lesson, to inspire his students and to show them why we all need music in our lives.
