Flute, Piano, Ukulele, Saxophone
Skye knew she wanted to play the flute when her soon-to-be middle school band director came and demonstrated the flute at her elementary school. She then began playing in 6th grade and has played the flute ever since.
She attended The University of North Carolina School of the Arts, in their residential high school program, where she played in many different ensembles such as Wind Ensemble, Orchestra, Film Orchestra, Opera Orchestra, Wind Quintet, and other various ensembles.
Her senior year of high school, Skye was selected to participate in the U.S. Army All-American Marching Band. The one-week program included flying out to San Antonio, Texas and working with Army Field Band Members.
Skye holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music Business and Industry from West Virginia University, which she attended on a Creative Arts Scholarship.
Skye is an active private instructor in the Triangle. In addition to the flute, Skye teaches saxophone, piano, and ukulele. She is excited to continue teaching and expand her studio!
