Voice, Piano
Karen Maney is certified in the Suzuki Music teaching method for both voice and piano. Lessons are customized to your preferences, however, and may include Suzuki or another music curriculum depending on your goals. Originally from Asheville, NC, Karen holds degrees in Music Education from Western Carolina University and Industrial and Engineering Management from UNCA.
Karen is the owner of Studio Upbeat, a learning tracks creator for a cappella quartets and choruses. She is a member of the Concert Singers of Cary and the Carolina Harmony Chorus, and plays piano and keyboard for musical theater.
Karen works with students of all ages and skill levels, and will learn about your specific musical ambitions so that the most direct path forward can be found.
