William Woodruff is a dedicated musician and recent graduate from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he obtained his Bachelor of Music degree. With a lifelong passion for music, Wills' journey began at the age of 5 when he first touched the keys of a piano. His musical odyssey took flight when he joined his high school's esteemed A Cappella group at R.J. Reynolds, where he discovered his love for singing and the intricacies of vocal harmony.
Throughout his academic career, Wills assumed leadership roles as the music director at R.J. Reynolds and later at UNC Chapel Hill, where he guided and inspired his peers as the music director of the oldest all-male A Cappella group, the Clefhangers. His tenure as a leader was marked by creativity, innovation, and a relentless pursuit of musical excellence.
Wills' musical journey is underscored by a diverse array of experiences and a comprehensive understanding of various musical genres. He has delved deeply into jazz, composition, and theoretical studies, honing his skills and expanding his musical horizons. His proficiency in music theory and arrangement reflects his commitment to mastery and artistic expression.
